MHS is a not-for-profit organization which, through partnerships, cultivates among its many audiences a broad appreciation and awareness of our past while inspiring learning through engaging and unique experiences. This mission reflects our preservation goals that focus on our entire community, including its open spaces, agricultural lands and farmsteads, buildings, environmental qualities, scenic attributes and the character of our neighborhoods. MHS manages a house museum, one room schoolhouse and two parks – the Heritage Park & Nature Trail and the Captain Brady Heritage Park
