The Community Theatre League, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is Williamsport’s premier community theatre. Since 1976, the Community Theatre League has presented over 200 Mainstage productions. “CTL” regularly produces more than a dozen plays or musicals throughout the year, as well as special concert events, reader’s theatre, the Moyer Studio Series, and the Family Series. CTL annually hosts a robust summer camp program for students in grades K-12, organizes the annual Ray of Light Awards for Excellence in High School Theatre, brings Broadway to Williamsport with “Evening with a Star,” and is the home of the Community Academy of Stage and Theatre. Located in Downtown Williamsport and with convenient parking available, CTL is within walking distance to most downtown restaurants and bars, making it a great part of a night out on the town. The Community Theatre League is theatre for the community by the community, and is committed to educating, enriching, and entertaining the greater Williamsport area.
