Join the Lycoming Audubon Society for a bird walk along Skyline Drive. The paved road is quite walkable, gently ascending the NE slope of Bald Eagle Mountain. We expect to see and hear resident birds of a typical mixed PA forest, including late spring warblers. The vistas of the west branch valley are a treat. Program is free and open to the public. Where: Take Rte. 15 out of South Williamsport, pass Little League and climb ‘Montgomery Pike’ to top of the mountain and park at the rest stop (no comfort facilities). Detailed directions on website.
