Little Pine State Park Program

A program is being presented on the “Trout of Pennsylvania.”  During the program, participants will take a look into the different types of trout in the Little Pine Creek Valley.  Topics will include their habitat, diet, and distinguishing characteristics.  At the end, visitors are welcome to share some fishing stories.  There will also be a craft.  All children must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate.  Also, all participants will need to follow the CDC Guidelines for social distancing and wear a mask in order to attend this program.  This program will be registration only (limited to 24 people), and may be cancelled in the event of severe weather. Please make sure to register in a group if more than one person is coming.   Registrations will be taken by calling 570-753-6005, or by going to DCNR’s calendar of events.  Meet at Pavilion #2.
