Taber Museum will host Richard Sprout to recount the history of Picture Rocks in his lecture\, “PICTURE ROCKS IN PICTURES-PAST AND PRESENT” at the Taber Coffee Hour on Thursday\, October 10\, at 10am in its Community Room.  Picture Rocks\, a borough in the northeastern corner of Lycoming County\, was founded in 1848 on land purchased by Amos Burrows and his nephew Asa R. Sprout. They planned on using the water power of Muncy Creek to run a planing mill for the manufacture of window sash and door frames.  The program is free and open to the public.
