Fraktur Children’s Workshop

The Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society will be hosting a workshop for children focusing on the colonial craft of fraktur on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 2pm. Pre-registration is required and the workshop will be limited to twenty-five children. The workshop is free and open to the public. Fraktur  is hand drawn artwork common in the early history of America and Germany. The workshop is recommended for children aged 8-12 years of age. Social distancing will be observed and the use of face masks are mandatory.
