Talented artist Catheal Weiser will be conducting a workshop on Fraktur which is a hand drawn artwork common in the early history of America and Germany. They are illuminated records of events such as birth, marriage, and baptisms. In the fraktur workshop students will learn the history and technique of this Early American art form and after studying some examples participants will learn how to design and create their own certificate. The workshop is recommended for children aged 8-12 years of age. Social distancing will be observed and the use of face masks are mandatory.  Pre-registration is required and the workshop will be limited to  twenty-five children. The workshop is free and open to the public.
